Chemical Bottling Operator

Join our team as a Chemical Bottling Operator, where you will be an integral part of our production process. You will be responsible for bottling chemicals, setting up machinery, labeling, packaging, and transferring finished products to inventory. This position requires high attention to detail and the ability to work in a clean room environment, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery to dispense chemicals into bottles and seal products according to handling specifications.
• Label and package products efficiently and accurately.
• Transfer finished products to inventory physically.
• Follow work instructions and enter data accurately into computers.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations as needed.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ensure adherence to strict GMP processes within the clean room environment.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic math skills at a high school level.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Email.
• Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and hand dexterity.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in medical assembly is advantageous.
• Familiarity with GMP practices is preferred.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Cross-trainable to maximize production efficiency.

Work Environment

You will work in a regulated environment that adheres to GMP practices, focusing on the development and manufacturing of reagents for in vitro diagnostics. The role involves working in a clean room setting, requiring full gowning, including safety glasses, surgical gloves, and a lab coat. You will spend half of your day in the clean room, collaborating with a team and reporting to the assembly area supervisor.

This role does require someone to have a HSD or GED from an accredited institution along with compliance checks post offer.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stillwater, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
