Simulation Acceleration / Emulation Engineer

Job Title: Simulation Acceleration / Emulation Engineer Location: Sunnyvale, CA OR Austin, TX We are seeking a highly skilled Simulation Acceleration / Emulation Engineer to support advanced ASIC and SoC development programs. In this role, you will be responsible for accelerating verification cycles through hardware-assisted verification platforms, enabling efficient validation of complex designs and software-hardware interactions. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with emulation technologies, acceleration‑aware verification methodologies, and the migration of SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches to hardware acceleration platforms. Required Qualifications BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Strong experience with Cadence Palladium and/or Synopsys ZeBu . Hands‑on experience supporting simulation acceleration and hardware emulation environments. Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM‑based verification methodologies . Experience porting and optimizing verification environments for acceleration or emulation platforms. Experience with emulator‑host partitioning and acceleration‑aware testbench architectures. Strong debugging skills covering RTL, testbench, and platform‑specific issues. Experience integrating Verification IP (VIP) and developing transactors. Scripting experience using Python, Perl, Tcl, or Shell scripting. Strong problem‑solving and cross‑functional communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting large‑scale SoC or ASIC verification programs. Familiarity with software‑driven validation and firmware bring‑up environments. Experience running large regression suites in accelerated or emulated environments. Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for complex verification infrastructures. Experience working in fast‑paced silicon development organizations.
