About Us

Axia Growth is a buy-side deal sourcing firm. We build proprietary origination pipelines for private equity firms, independent sponsors, search funds, M&A advisors, brokers, and banks. That means off-market deal flow that never reaches a broker's auction list. We have sourced over $500M in deal flow to date.

We're a small team, and we're growing fast. You'll work directly with our leadership team and see live deals from first conversation to the buyer's table.

The Role

You're the first conversation in every deal we source. You reach business owners who may be open to selling and buyers who need deal flow. You qualify both sides against real investment criteria and book the ones who fit with our team and our clients' deal teams.

This is a high-volume, phone-and-message role. We measure you on qualified meetings. One meeting with an owner who fits the criteria beats ten who don't.

What You'll Do

• Run high-volume outbound to business owners and executives: calls, LinkedIn, and email
• Qualify acquisition targets against client investment criteria: industry, revenue/EBITDA, geography, structure, timeline
• Build relationships with owners who are thinking about a sale, and follow up until you get a decision either way
• Handle the objections that come up in a first sell-side conversation: valuation, confidentiality, "not right now"
• Run LinkedIn outreach to searchers and other buyers, and book them with our leadership team
• Keep our CRM accurate, with dispositions, criteria fit, and detailed notes on every prospect
• Research industries and markets for new client campaigns
• Tell us what you hear from the market: what gets responses, which criteria are too tight, which objections keep coming up

What We're Looking For

Must-have

• Ambition, and you're persistent. You'll make a lot of calls and send a lot of messages to get one good conversation.
• You can hold a real conversation with a business owner, founder, or MD. You speak and write clearly.
• You're fast with technology. You'll live in a dialer, a CRM, LinkedIn, and email from day one, and you pick up new tools without hand-holding.
• Self-starter. You manage your own day and hit your numbers without being chased.
• This is your main job. Full-time means you're available during US business hours every week, not around a class schedule or a second job.
• Basic business sense, and curiosity about how companies are bought and sold

Nice-to-have

• Recent grad (business, finance, economics, or any field where you learned to work hard)
• Experience in SDR, appointment setting, inside sales, recruiting, or any job where you were on the phones
• Exposure to M&A, brokerage, investment banking, PE, or financial services
• Deal-screening basics: revenue vs. EBITDA, add-backs, what a buyer's thesis looks like

No prior M&A experience required.

Compensation

• $60,000 base salary
• Uncapped commission on every shown, qualified meeting you book
• Full-time, remote, US time zones

How You Start

The first week is a paid trial. You get the dialer, lists, scripts, and live training before your first call.

Either side can end things at the end of week one. If that happens, you're paid for the week, prorated from the full-time salary. If it's a fit, you just keep going.

We hire off what you do on the phones, not how you interview. The trial is how we find out, and how you find out whether you like the work.
