Position Overview Digital Marketing Associate (San Diego, CA) – on‑site. This role supports the overall marketing strategy, focusing on digital assets and paid/unpaid digital programs. Salary range $30.00/hr to $35.00/hr (approximately $63,000 – $73,000 annually). Eligible for discretionary bonus plan. Primary Job Functions Execute paid digital media campaigns and analytics. Drive organic site traffic using SEO tactics. Optimize website to increase conversion and improve user engagement. Prepare regular reporting on digital results. Provide general marketing support. Key Responsibilities Implement and manage media buying, production, reporting, and optimization across paid search, display, remarketing, social media and other channels. Identify digital targets and scale media spend to grow contact database. Deploy SEM best practices and stay current on industry trends. Manage project schedules, costs, and P&Ls using CRM and other systems. Act as daily contact with digital agency and collaborate with the marketing team for cohesive cross‑channel campaigns. Run, optimize, and analyze paid ad campaigns (Google Ads, paid social, display). Use HubSpot for campaign management, workflows, reporting, or CRM integration. Maintain and optimize website content using SEO best practices. Conduct keyword research, support content creation, and maintain updated contacts and bios. Audit evergreen content annually. Perform website analytics, share findings, and partner with Content, Brand, and New Client teams to improve user experience. Serve as primary web‑development contact for agency services. Prepare results reports for management and recommend A/B testing on campaigns and landing pages. Communicate findings to enable strategic decisions across all digital channels. Use AI tools to automate workflows and accelerate analysis where possible. Work with dashboards, performance metrics, and translate data into actionable insights. Experiment, test, and iterate to optimize systems. Take ownership of projects and seek continuous improvement. Assist Marketing Communications with all department activities and act as digital resource as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Qualifications Four‑year degree in marketing or related field (or equivalent experience). 3–5 years of digital marketing experience, paid and unpaid. Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Bing. Google Ads certification or ability to obtain it. Experience with A/B testing and multivariate experiments. Experience with Google Analytics, Salesforce, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred. Strong understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition. Data‑driven decision making. Functional knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SQL. Experience with back‑end SEO, metadata, site‑speed optimization. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Problem‑solving skills, willingness to investigate issues and propose solutions. Flexibility and teamwork in a cross‑functional environment.
