This position operates in a fully remote setting, ensuring that you can balance your professional duties with personal life. You will primarily engage with clients through secure telehealth platforms during standard business hours—Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM—providing clarity and structure to your work schedule while promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients presenting with symptoms of mood disorders to evaluate their mental health status, including the severity and impact on daily functioning.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate their needs, preferences, and goals, ensuring a personalized approach to their mental health care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies for managing symptoms.

• Monitor clients’ progress rigorously throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to the treatment plans based on evolving needs and feedback.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care that supports the client's holistic health.

• Stay informed of the latest research and evidence-based practices in treating mood disorders to continually refine treatment approaches.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical standards regarding client records.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to engage with colleagues and enhance your clinical expertise.

• Advocate for client needs, focusing on the destigmatization of mental health issues while promoting awareness of available resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Clients will come from varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, providing an enriching environment for professional growth and cultural competency.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within California.
\n
• Proficient in evidence-based treatment modalities specific to mood disorders such as CBT and DBT.
\n
• Comprehension of psychopharmacology to facilitate collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers effectively.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering successful treatment outcomes within different populations.

• Outstanding communication skills, coupled with an ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience.
