Registered NurseSeeking a Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience. First-time travelers with strong clinical experience will be considered. This position requires the ability to handle higher acuity patients. Shift will be 3 nights per week from 19:00 to 07:30. Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required. The average daily census is 30 patients. The unit has 22 rooms and 30 beds. Patients are primarily adults and geriatrics with a variety of diagnoses. Common conditions include CHF, ECOPD, NSTEMI, AFib, arrhythmias, sepsis, and renal failure. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the specialty as needed. Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac drips is essential. Charting system experience with preferred knowledge of Epic is a plus. The position involves managing blood products and isolation precautions.
