We're looking for an experienced dispatcher who knows how to keep a fast-moving field team running like a machine, someone who can read a schedule, read a room, and make the right call under pressure. The right person brings: Calm Under Pressure: when three techs go sideways and the phone won't stop ringing, you get sharper, not rattled Sharp & Organized: you can hold a dozen moving pieces (schedules, parts, priorities) in your head without dropping one Decisive: you make the right-tech-right-call decision fast, and you own the outcome Clear Communicator: techs, customers, and teammates all get a straight answer from you, every time Ownership Mentality: you treat the day's schedule like it's your own business, not just your assigned task list Team-First: you jump in for a tech or a teammate even when it's not technically your job What You'll Actually Do You're the hub connecting our field technicians to the customers who need them. On a typical day you'll: Keep each technician's skills and availability up to date so the right tech gets sent to the right job, every time Match incoming service calls to the best-fit technician based on skill, location, and urgencyTrack daily job data to drive smart scheduling decisions for the day ahead Run a daily report on which techs are ready for their next call, and lead the team's morning brief Make sure the parts a technician needs for a job are ordered and arrive on time Pitch in on other projects as the team grow; no two days look exactly alike What You’ll Need 2+ years of dispatch or scheduling experience; home services/trades background is a plus, but not required A track record of staying sharp and organized when the day gets chaotic Strong communication skills; you'll work closely with techs, customers, and teammates Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office and web-based tools) ServiceTitan experience a plus, but not required What Success Looks Like Six months in, here's how you'll know you've got it dialed in: Right Tech, Right Call, First Time: re-routes and callbacks are the exception, not the norm Techs Start the Day Ready: the morning brief runs on time, and every tech knows exactly where they're headed and what they need Parts Beat the Truck: the right part is on hand before the tech needs it, not chased down mid-job Escalations Land Softly: you catch problems early and resolve them before the customer ever feels them The Board Stays Ahead of the Day: you're already planning tomorrow's capacity while today is still running Your Team Trusts You: techs and teammates know you've got their day handled, so they can focus on the job in front of them Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision Life insurance Long-Term Disability Optional additional coverage 401(k) with match 3 weeks PTO + paid holidays We move fast!
