Client Specialist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Client Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for potential customers via phone;
- Evaluate and secure appropriate service level and client approval for the recommended scope of work.
Requirements:
- Track record of successfully navigating high-pressure situations;
- Ability to work independently, with limited oversight, and with a strong sense of personal accountability;
- Background in problem-solving, multitasking, and prioritization;
- 7+ years of experience in a project management or customer service role, ideally within a professional services industry;
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers based on empathy, compassion, and transparency;
- Some college preferred;
- Pre-sales and/or customer service experience;
- Networking industry knowledge;
- Self-starter with demonstrated experience engaging cross-functional/virtual teams and building strong relationships;
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects;
- Understanding of the Cisco sales organization a plus;
- Experience in the managed services industry a plus;
- Understanding of large business organizations and buying cycles a plus;
- Strong written and verbal skills.
