Commercial Loan Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Commercial Loan Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Process payment reversals, accrual adjustments, advance requests, payoff and maintenance transactions daily;
- Accurately and timely processing of all advance requests for loans including loans tied to a borrowing base;
- Ensure all incoming requests are handled in a timely and manner and according to the banks procedures;
- Complete required post conversion maintenance during conversion weekend;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets;
- Provide answers to more complex Commercial and Consumer Real Estate loan customers regarding loan credit agreement terms;
- Responsible for timely and accurately answering questions and completing incoming customer service requests from internal and external customers;
- Accurately and timely process adjustments for payments when needed;
- Assist with projects within department as needed as well as cross train in other functions;
- Accurately calculate required accrual adjustments for reversal transactions to ensure adjustments are correctly completed;
- Communicate with lenders and assistants to answer complex questions relating to the Commercial and Commercial Real Estate Loan Portfolio of the bank;
- Daily accuracy and timely changing with loan parameters all loan rate indexes associated with all loan portfolio types;
- Produce accurate results and meet deadlines;
- Timely check the inbox to handle specialized requests items and complete per service level agreements.
Requirements:
- Extraordinary attention to detail;
- High School Diploma required; Associates Degree strongly preferred; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred;
- Ability to work efficiently with supervision;
- Ability to navigate regulations and rules;
- Ability to establish and maintain productive interpersonal business relationships with internal and external customers;
- Ability to prioritize time and tasks with Manager input;
- Two years of banking experience in loan processing, loan operations, or related field;
- Strong organizational skills;
- The ability to work in a dynamic environment.
