Our company is looking for a Education Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists CNA’s with recertification forms and updates;
  • Assists department leaders in designing, assigning, tracking, and reporting of education compliance;
  • Maintains and assists staff members’ certifications in BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and other required certifications;
  • Serves as a liaison representing the hospital;
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) education including updates and full use of system;
  • Responsible for the ongoing education of center personnel; as well as, the Certified Nurse Aide Training Program, if applicable;
  • Serves as an administrator for the online education program;
  • Maintains current in-service record of classes held and clinical performances of each nursing assistant;
  • May be required to train or coordinate certified training programs for Food Services, Housekeeping and Laundry;
  • Evaluates the infection control program and conducts infection control rounds;
  • Prepares lesson plans containing objectives, course contents, method of instruction for each class scheduled and completed;
  • Facilitates learning opportunities for the educational programs in the area;
  • Facilitates and maintains records of all employee competencies and mandatory training as required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to creatively develop solutions as necessary;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in education field;
  • Motivated, reliable self-starter with an ability to work independently yet as a member of a team;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field;
  • Ability to maintain the highest personal levels of ethical conduct, confidentiality, and integrity;
  • Familiarity with boating and the marine industry in general and with small business preferred;
  • Excellent organizational, oral presentation and written communication skills;
  • 3-5 years experience in clinical education;
  • Post-graduate degree;
  • Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field;
  • The ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated are essential qualities for this position;
