Responsibilities:
- Assesses patients;
- Knowledge and ability to recognize medical emergencies and illnesses;
- Wound care and bandaging;
- Maintain Case Files;
- Running in-house lab work;
- Casts;
- Dispense and administer medications;
- Comfort, support, and educate pet owners;
- Laboratory procedures;
- Monitoring all changes in patients and giving them all the compassionate care they deserve;
- Assist in training of veterinary students;

Requirements:
- Ability to walk or stand for 10 to 12 hours (or longer shifts, as needed); frequently working in a bent position;
- Ability to handle stressful situations;
- Ability to complete assigned tasks, even if extended work hours are required in order to do so.
