SharePoint Architect Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a SharePoint Architect to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate the newly created SharePoint 2016 environments;
- Support client Staff in the migration of SharePoint 2013 sites to the newly implemented SharePoint 2016 environment;
- Deployment and post deployment services including, but not limited to;
- Migrate existing custom solutions and templates to SharePoint 2016;
- Walk Client Staff through the SharePoint 2013 Assessment for Upgrade to SharePoint 2016;
- Refine policy, process, and procedure around post deployment SharePoint;
- Design and development services including, but not limited to;
- All configuration and development will be conducted with the long-term client enterprise solution in mind;
- Ensure that select client staff is engaged during all activities of design and development to facilitate knowledge transfer;
- governance, administration, support, and development.
Requirements:
- Accreditation as Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCTIP);
- Minimum three 3 years’ experience developing, maintaining and deploying custom SharePoint solutions;
- Must follow CalPERS Core Values on a daily basis (Respect, Accountability,
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience of SharePoint Server 2013 or newer features, functionality and services on Intranets/Extranets;
- Experience configuring and managing a SharePoint Server 2016 Hybrid environment;
- Previous experience working with or on client SharePoint Server architecture;
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience with all facets of SharePoint Server 2016 features, functionality and services on Intranets/Extranets;
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Microsoft certifications in applicable SharePoint related technology;
- Accreditation as Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS);
- Integrity, Balance, Openness, Quality) and work collaboratively with other.
