Our company is looking for a Security Operations Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors news and weather for emerging hazards to building and/or employees and take appropriate actions;
  • Coordinates the emergency preparedness and response plans globally;
  • Answers incoming phone and radio calls from external and internal customers. Using available resources, route calls in the appropriate manner;
  • Answers the “Emergency 400” line and promptly coordinate emergency response efforts effectively;
  • Monitors operations globally using all available security systems and taking appropriate action as needed;
  • Coordinates the efforts of the emergency response team, security personnel, employees, management, and outside agencies.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of various assessment tools including Tenable Nessus HP Webinspect, AppDetective, nmap, and related;
  • Ability to develop custom scripts (bash and Windows Powershell or equivalent);
  • NIST and RMF familiarity;
  • NOC, SOC, operations, data center or similar experience preferred;
  • Linux, Windows Server, and workstation environment familiarity;
  • BS/BA in Business, IT, Cybersecurity or equivalent.
