Our company is looking for a Aerospace Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Low and high fidelity analytic modeling of vehicle subsystems;
  • Clean sheet and existing vehicle design analysis including aerodynamic, propulsion, and power system performance;
  • Multivariate trade studies regarding system design, presentation of results;
  • Knowledge of budgeting process;
  • Knowledge of program planning and management techniques;
  • Aerodynamic database generation, fitting, and analysis.

Requirements:

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree;
  • Expertise in determination of aircraft aerodynamic performance through use of modeling techniques;
  • Experience in using CAD software;
  • Collaborating with Maintenance, Planning, Engineering and Materials teams for coordination of repairs/modifications;
  • Knowledge of systems (AMDS, Insight, OTIS, EARTH, SCEPTRE, etc.) is desired;
  • Development of repairs and alterations related to aircraft mechanical or electrical systems;
  • Familiarity with FAR’s and DOT regulations related to aircraft dispatch is preferred;
  • Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures;
  • Knowledge of Technical Operations Policies and Procedures is desired;
  • Familiarity with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and associated technical documentation is preferred;
  • Substantiating the airworthiness/regulatory compliance of engineering documents;
  • Knowledge of budgeting process;
  • Familiarity with unmanned aircraft systems and operations;
  • Familiarity with autopilot and flight control design is desirable;
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.
