Facilities Assistant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Facilities Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Willingly perform any other tasks upon;
- Warehouse – In our company van, drive employees and items to/from our local warehouse as requested;
- Printers/Copiers – Perform daily maintenance;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Assembles furniture for staff use;
- Completes miscellaneous paint jobs, minor repairs and tasks as needed for optimal building performance;
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.Checks and replaces light tubes;
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks;
- Innovation Room check – Turn all lights and tv’s on/off every am/pm; Make sure room is clear and free of debris;
- Gathering, sorting and delivering interoffice mail;
- Vacuum occasionally when needed;
- Setup and cleanup breakfast in conference room for meetings;
- Clean patio furniture and sweep patio area as needed;
- Maintain storage room organized;
- Daily setup and clean up and store left overs of catered lunch.
Requirements:
- Must consent to and pass agency drug testing;
- Must consent to and pass state felony, Central Registry Check, and/or FBI background check when applicable;
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with immediate access to a legally insured vehicle;
- Must maintain a current TB Screening;
- Must at least have auto liability insurance and must keep it current;
- Must be able to drive an automobile, full size pickup, and a van;
- Must have a working telephone or cell phone;
- Must consent to and pass an initial health examination;
- Demonstrated team player and a positive professional attitude;
- General office knowledge, including clerical and general computer skills, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.);
- 1-2 Years of previous facilities or office support experience;
- Computer literate; Google Suite knowledge a plus;
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Able to lift up to 50lbs;
- High School diploma or equivalent; Some college a plus.
