Our company is looking for a Facilities Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures in performance of assigned duties;
  • Complete all assigned corrective work orders and Preventative Maintenance work with attention to detail and maintaining required GMP documentation;
  • Works with outside contractors to repair equipment;
  • Upkeep with office maintenance and repairs if necessary;
  • Suggest practical changes or improvements to equipment and department work practices;
  • Develop and modify departmental SOP’s and maintain knowledge of GMP work practices;
  • Assist with office operational tasks and ensure they are done quickly and efficiently;
  • Support manufacturing operations 12/7;
  • Other internal tasks as needed;
  • Works with outside vendors to resolve recurring parts issues;
  • Attend training sessions as required;
  • Navigate in a CMMS system to find and close out work orders;
  • Work independently, with only general supervision and instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new assignments;
  • Coordinate upcoming company moves to various office locations;
  • Work overtime and off hours to support customers.

Requirements:

  • Ability to interpret mechanical specification drawings and other technical data sheets;
  • Able to follow written and oral instructions for complex tasks;
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, night shifts, extended shifts, and/or weekends;
  • Proficient with lock-out tag-out safety procedures and energized system work practices;
  • Position requires knowledge and usage of hand and power tools to perform assignments;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organization & time management skills;
  • Basic computer skills. (Microsoft Office Suite);
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • 1+ years of prior office coordination experience;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision;
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail;
  • Experience in customer service in a fast-paced environment;
  • Work requires periods during which physical exertion is required, such as lifting and maneuvering of equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward;
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point);
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
