Visual Design Lead Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Visual Design Lead to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Detailed Responsive Component design and upkeep: Create and manage designs for the Intel.com design system;
- Maintain and update both our public facing company website and customer facing product dashboard, making improvements and adding features as necessary;
- Work with Product to conduct and synthesize User Research(UxR) with customers, related to digital interaction and design;
- Create concepts for dashboard designs and digital interactions (UI) based design directives resultant from UxR;
- Designing new components, refreshing old ones and keeping the system relevant and modern This is the primary activity you will be focused on;
- Create mock materials based on Dashboard Concepts (UX) to conduct usability tests with customers as a means of design refinement.
Requirements:
- Interest in storytelling and writing copy;
- Experience with Hardware/Software products;
- Experience using WordPress, WPEngine;

- 5+ years of experience of visual design and creative direction;
- High degree of autonomy and work ownership with strong action-to-impact relationship;
- Bachelor’s degree in Design field or equivalent professional experience;
- Some degree of technical proficiency / fluency or experience designing brand around a technical product;
- Deep network of design/artist contacts;
