Our company is looking for a Visual Designer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative assets for social channels and advertising campaigns;
  • Work on creative artifacts needed to engage developers at events and conferences;
  • Grow and evolve our email communications and drip campaigns;
  • Evolve all Square Developer marketing channels;
  • Develop and conceptualize campaigns in a fast-paced results driven team environment across multiple platforms;
  • Incorporate UI/UX best practices in mobile design, website design, and layout;
  • Work within the standards of our team, with the ability to constructively critique your own work and the work of others;
  • Create graphics and design layouts for landing pages, e-mail campaigns, online promotions, and other communication materials as needed;
  • Communicate with the team and support campaigns with design solutions;
  • Ensure consistency in creative and copy with the company’s brand and design direction;
  • Ability to work independently with cross-functional teams;
  • Take on the details of production as well as develop and conceptualize campaigns in a fast-paced, results-driven team;
  • Develop campaigns that engage a B2B audience across multiple platforms that include web landing pages, emails, PDFs, and presentations;
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, from concepts to deliverables;
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to create quality product.

Requirements:

  • A strong feel for brand and understand how to ensure you work espouses and evangelizes bran values;
  • 3+ years of well-rounded design experience with an exceptional portfolio showcasing visual design, color, layout, iconography, and typography;
  • Ability to work independently with cross-functional teams;
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design or related discipline;
  • Portfolio showcasing your strengths and compatible skills;
  • Strong verbal communication skills;
  • Strong portfolio featuring examples of digital and print work;
  • Ability to design with the context of how coding structures work is a plus;
  • Expertise in Photoshop (Adobe), Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, PowerPoint, Keynote, Sketch and After Effects;
  • A solid creative portfolio that features illustration, infographics, and creative branding projects;
  • Experience with character rigging (motion design) is a plus;
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Suite and/or other design software;
  • A portfolio of work including web, print, motion, e-mail, and/or landing page projects;
  • Experience with wire-framing and prototyping tools;
  • Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
