Our company is looking for a Env Svcs Wkr/Housekeeper to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in maintaining a safe, clean therapeutic environment;
- Supports facility’s safety and security programs;
- Maintains facility and furnishings in clean, orderly fashion;
- Maintains a therapeutic relationship with patients;
- Serves as an active member of the environmental service/housekeeping department;
- Cleans floors in patient and non-patient areas;
- Demonstrates conduct in keeping with facility’s standards;
- Maintain the facility in a clean, sanitary, orderly and attractive condition to provide a suitable environment for patient, staff and visitors.
Requirements:
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift & grasp;
- Able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally;
- Must have skills in maintaining information as highly confidential;
- MUST be available to work weekends;
- Must be able to concentrate on work amidst distractions such as noise, conversations and foot traffic;
- Must maintain self-control in volatile or hostile customer service interactions;
- Must be able to work independently, in a restricted physical environment for extended periods of time;
- Institutional experience preferred;
- Must have the ability to perform several tasks concurrently.
