Landscape Foreman Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Landscape Foreman to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing progress and making recommendations;
- Completing landscape design and construction;
- Preparing spreadsheets and other documents;
- Scheduling training sessions wherever required;
- Completing inventory checks and equipment inspections;
- Providing cost, material, equipment, and time estimates;
- Communicating with our customers;
- Clean up associated with new landscape installations;
- Assist Landscape Designer/Sales Rep in Purchasing Plant and/or hardscape materials from Vendors;
- Must;
- Responsible for quality control;
- Load and unload truck with specific equipment and material needed for job;
- Clock in/out of each job;
- Oversee and assist crew in Loading and Unloading efficiently;
- Pushing wheelbarrow.
Requirements:
- Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions;
- On-the-job training as a landscape crew member;
- Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping;
- Reading plans, bed layout, plant identification and installation, edging and mulching;
- The ability to manage a crew and document job costs are necessary job skills;
- Basic knowledge of job costing, scheduling and production landscaping;
- Must have clean Florida driver’s license;
- Have advanced landscape construction knowledge;
- Ability to read, understand and execute landscape plans;
- Training and development;
- Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic;
- Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer (up to 50 lbs.);
- Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day;
- Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit;
