Asset Management Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Asset Management Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize work and meet deadlines;
- Organize, plan and administer various phases of day to day provisioning for Branch Moves, Adds and Changes;
- Focus on end user experience, catalogs and documentation;
- Develop plans to refresh devices including Desktops and Mobile Devices;
- Maintain Cost Center data in Active Directory and ensure all computer objects are in the proper OU;
- Produce Monthly Inventory reports for Cost Center owners;
- Solve problems and be able to present information effectively to customers;
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies, including inventory software, Microsoft Excel and others;
- Follow policies and procedures on computer and software deployment and decommissioning;
- Function as a point of contact for Asset Management questions from departments and end users;
- Participates in special projects as required;
- Be flexible to meet the needs of the current project, which sometimes requires nights and weekends;
- Evaluate and make recommendations on IT equipment;
- Work with stakeholders to select appropriate hardware models for Rollins;
- Serve as Client’s primary internal resource as it relates to asset management.
Requirements:
- Self-motivated; able to work independently on multiple assignments;
- Knowledge of ITIL and SACM concepts and best practices;
- Understanding of hardware llife-cycle management processes for purchase, receipt, IMAC, stock management and retirement;
- Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills;
- Knowledge and experience with licensing for large software vendors, such as IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, Adobe, etc;
- 2+ years’ experience with Hardware Asset Management.
