Our company is looking for a Business Development Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Increase revenues by developing, communicating and driving effective selling strategies based on valid, customer-specific value propositions;
  • Answering phone calls and deciding if they should be routed to executives;
  • Coordinates meetings, data calls, assignments with internal and external teammates and/or Capture Managers/stakeholders;
  • Helping prepare for meetings;
  • Researching and conducting data to prepare documents for review and presentation by boards of directors, committees, and executives;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Handle ad hoc tasks with short deadlines while supporting concurrent tasks;
  • Preparing proposals, reports, memos, invoices letters, and other documents;
  • Coordinate resources and awareness of deadlines both current and upcoming;
  • Fostering long term business relationships with customer, vendors, and subcontractors;
  • Maintaining BD pipeline for analysis and reporting;
  • Achieve sales goals and objectives in assigned territory;
  • Participating in regular business development and/or pipeline review meetings;
  • Responsible for the creation and ongoing development of customer communication including device update;
  • Attending industry and tech conferences / symposiums, industry days, and other relevant events to market IERUS.

Requirements:

  • One year of business to business sales, cold calling or appointment setting;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • 2+ years of national, enterprise-level B2B sales experience;
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines with tight time constraints;
  • Detail oriented with strong customer support skills;
  • A Bachelors Degree with preference given to candidates with Business or Market Research or Communication degrees;
  • Diplomatic, persuasive and articulate communication style to establish and maintain rapport with internal and external customers/partners;
  • Experience developing new accounts in the Pennsylvania market preferred;
  • Work history that demonstrates success;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Four or more years of commercial, multi-line, P&C marketing and underwriting experience;
  • Energetic, assertive personality;
  • Self-Motivated – Being able to multi-task and prioritize your time efficiently;
  • Demonstrated ability to meet performance goals.
