Internal auditors check for mismanagement of an organization’s funds. They identify ways to improve the processes for finding and eliminating waste and fraud. The practice of internal auditing is not regulated, but The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) provides generally accepted standards.

Our company is looking for a Internal Auditor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-host customer and auditor visits/on-site audits;
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency;
  • Performs other related duties as assigned;
  • Execute mature audits and provide evidence to Team for analysis;
  • Perform internal audits as assigned in accordance with International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing;
  • Development of improvement suggestions for processes and systems as well as support and monitoring of necessary optimization measures;
  • Use innovative tools at every stage of your work;
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned;
  • Understand the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (and any related SEC and PCAOB pronouncements);
  • Monitor and audit the company’s compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002;
  • Report audit findings to internal audit leadership and senior management;
  • Monitor and assist with remediation efforts;
  • Collects, analyzes (performs data extraction if necessary), and tests controls for effectiveness;
  • Assists in the development of factual reports of audit findings for senior management;
  • Support annual external financial audits of the Company and its subsidiaries.

Requirements:

  • Ability to set priorities and adapt to changes in a quick, professional manner;
  • Ability to “manage-up”, often working closely with the executive team to complete projects and/or host customers;
  • Customer centric (internal and external), motivated, focused personality;
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;
  • Experience in industry auditing and accounting;
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience;
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Monitor and assist with remediation efforts;
  • Report audit findings to internal audit leadership and senior management;
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Professional designation (CPA, CIA or CMA) also required;
  • Monitor and audit the company’s compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002;
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned;
  • Excellent documentation, communication and IT skills;
  • Understand the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (and any related SEC and PCAOB pronouncements).
