Our company is looking for a Jr. Business Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build of User Experience Prototypes;
  • End User Training Program Execution;
  • Post Software Deployment Support;
  • Software Quality Assurance Testing Definition and Execution;
  • A successful candidate for this position will be able to execute the following job duties under direction of Cohesive Senior resources;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Workshop Participation;
  • Strong experience with various software development methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, etc;
  • Intermediate-level proficiency with SQL-variant language, both reading and writing database queries;
  • At the end of the Sprint, participate with team in review of the product and a retrospective;
  • Collaborate with the team on Sprint Planning and assist with planning to accomplish items from backlog;
  • Facilitate regular meetings with project team, sponsors, and stakeholders. Solicit stakeholder feedback to validate priorities;
  • Participate in backlog management and maintain an emphasis on user experience and specifications;
  • Experience troubleshooting applications, interpreting web service calls/responses and log file entries;
  • Participate in the QA process by developing clear, specific, and testable acceptance criteria and performing hand-off to QA.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Fixed Income and Derivatives;
  • One or more years of business analysis experience;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Proficient in client relationship management, analytical, problem solving, written and oral communication and presentation skills;
  • Intermediate-level proficiency with SQL-variant language, both reading and writing database queries;
  • Strong experience with various software development methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, etc;
  • Familiar with MS Office;
