Senior Director FP&A Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Director FP&A to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead “build/buy/rent“ analyses for potential strategic M&A targets and organic operating decisions;
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives;
- Lead efforts to unpack business unit profitability and drive analytics and decision support to change the performance vector;
- Develop and gain deep business understanding of financial drivers and levers that impact the P&L;
- Manage Board of Directors financial content and positioning with CFO;
- Take ownership of the core financial model and drive the planning agenda, cadence, and financial metrics for the business;
- Manage the annual budget and strategic planning processes;
- Manage a team of FP&A professionals.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to influence across functions and levels;
- Experience with high growth, fast-paced businesses;
- Investment banking experience helpful but not required;
- FP&A leadership experience, preferably within a high transactional business;
- Previous SAAS company experience;
- Strong leadership and communication skills;
- Technologically savvy;
- Superior analytical skills;
- Private equity portfolio company experience preferred;
- MBA preferred.
