Senior Product Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Product Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Handles the product development process of several accounts from sample selection process, sample/color approvals up to style adoption;
- Handles lab testing requirements for the accounts being managed;
- Will manage the product development calendars of accounts;
- Works closely with Tech Design team in terms of product development process;
- Be able to analyze technical spec sheets and communicates with overseas factories for the execution of samples;
- Creating WIP’s of proto and all approval samples for the accounts;
- Be proficient in the PLM system, making sure that all information is accurate and fully updated;
- Strong clients and supplier management;
- Communicates with production team to ensure that the end product is properly executed.
Requirements:
- Proven perseverance to carry a set of software deliverables from requirements to completion;
- Cloud Certifications a plus;
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a curious mind for troubleshooting and building software;
- Team Foundation Server, BitBucket, Git, Subversion or other source control product;
- Have experience communicating with factories, mills and customers, local and overseas;
- Object Relational Mapping (OR/M), MVC, MEF, Unity Framework;
- Knowledge of the various services and capabilities of cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP);
- Detail-orientation with the ability to understand how each aspect interacts with the big picture;
- Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases including stored procedures, views and triggers;
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal;
- A solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and programming fundamentals;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a private label setting;
- Five+ years’ experience professionally developing software;
- A single-minded focus on deadlines and deliverables;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to work with technical and non-technical staff.
