Our company is looking for a Senior Project Manager – Multifamily Construction to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Adheres and ensures staff and subcontractors adhere to all safety standards;
- Ensures work performed is in compliance with state, local and federal legal requirements and operates on the job with the highest of ethics;
- Ensures that assigned projects are completed accurately, on time, billed within budget and within the scope of the contract;
- Responsible for following consistent and repeatable project management procedures and processes;
- The project manager is ultimately responsible for the profitable execution of multiple assigned projects;
- Lead progress and team meetings;
- Maintains positive cash flow and actively manages change orders;
- Maintains an effective balance between customer satisfaction and project financial results.
Requirements:
- Customer service focus with a positive attitude;
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for the big-picture;
- A minimum of 10 years experience in construction project management for MULTIFAMILY Residential projects, preferably in an urban setting;
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in construction management or other relevant field preferred;
- Ability to read blue prints and design drawings;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customer;
- Ability to lead and influence a team which you may or may not have direct authority over.
