Our company is looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • BA/BS in Accounting/Finance;
  • Experience in prepearing and reviewing tax calculations, tax returns, and other tax filings;
  • Will be responsible for assisting with the annual tax provision and forecasting the quarterly financial and cash tax rate;
  • Assist in managing partnership and corporate tax returns;
  • Facilitate Federal and State audits;
  • Working knowledge of tax technology systems (Corptax and OneSource) relative to both tax compliance and tax provision areas;
  • Supports the corporate tax department in its compliance functions. This includes all federal, state and local tax filings, including Form 5471;
  • ( 20% ) Review/Prepare General Ledger Account reconciliations and analysis pertaining to taxes;
  • ( 10% ) Timely review of Tax Analysts output to ensure accuracy preparation, filing and payment of taxes;
  • Assists tax audits.Assist with income tax provision process upon request;
  • Interact and correspond daily with tax authorities;
  • Assist in ensuring all internal controls and procedures are properly documented and key financial controls are operating effectively;
  • Federal and state income/franchise tax audits, including responding to inquiries;
  • Perform tax research and memorialize conclusions;
  • ( 40% ) Timely and accurately prepare file and pay all taxes for jurisdictions assigned by the Director.

Requirements:

  • Masters in Taxation (a plus);
  • B.S. in Accounting or related field;
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in Accounting;
  • International tax experience required;
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or related field (required);
  • Partnership experience preferred;
  • Public accounting experience strongly preferred;
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite; proficient in Excel;
  • 2-4 years of tax accounting/compliance experience;
  • Prior experience with Corp tax software a plus;
  • DIVISION FIN Corporate Finance;
  • Five (5) years combined experience in Big 4 Accounting Firms and public companies;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • LOCATION United States – Illinois – Abbott Park;
  • TRAVEL Yes, 5 % of the Time.
