Web Content Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Web Content Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring of website performance regarding traffic and site usability;
- Create all graphics for the station’s digital platforms;
- Perform quality assurance on website regularly; troubleshoot website errors;
- Maintain relevant content for website by working with other departments;
- Use Google Analytics to ensure proper performance of all ad campaigns;
- Currency of content, working with business stakeholders to update content;
- Maintain directory structure for files and images not managed within the content management system;
- Review websites to: Identify broken links and/or missing images;
- Test compatibility with current browsers;
- Translate print and electronic documents into formats suitable for web-based presentation;
- Deploy new digital content in a timely and accurate manner;
- Test ADA compliance;
- Assess the usability of the pages, making recommendations for change as appropriate;
- Develop simple HTML – test and review code to ensure functionality and accuracy;
- Perform minor image manipulation tasks such as creating document thumbnails.
Requirements:
- Content management system experience;
- Process documentation and development experience;
- Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities;
- Flexible – able to respond quickly and effectively to changes in the marketplace, internal strategy, and business requirements;
- Detail oriented;
- Autonomous – has the capacity to self-motivate, plan effectively, problem-solve, and generally understand and “own” the job.
