Our company is looking for a Telecommunications Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and recommend process improvements and new and emerging technologies to meet customer requirements;
  • Anticipate, effectively diagnose, isolate, and expediently resolve problems relative to telecommunications and information systems;
  • Perform site surveys for equipment/system installations;
  • Performs analysis and evaluation of telecom requirements and make recommendations to resolve performance/operating problems;
  • Plan, set goals and determine strategies for accomplishing results;
  • Research and write clear, concise and effective e written correspondence, procedures and briefings in accordance with current established policies;
  • Resolve customer complaints, troubleshoot equipment, and check the device for proper operation.

Requirements:

  • Able to multi-task with excellent time management skills;
  • Must have experience communicating with vendors on a regular basis;

  • Military Spouses, under Executive Order (E.O.) 13473;
  • Current Permanent Department of Defense (DOD) Civilian Employee (non-Army);
  • Veterans Employment Opportunity Act (VEOA) of 1998;
  • Reinstatement;
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred;
  • Intermediate (or better) knowledge of MS Excel;
  • Basic understanding of OSP/ISP construction;
  • Solid leadership and relationship/team building skills;
  • Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan;
  • Familiarity with circuit inventory and facility management OSS applications. Net Cracker experience desired;
  • Experience managing multiple vendors and resources in order to deliver time-sensitive projects;
  • Current Department of Army Civilian Employees.
