Our company is looking for a DevOps Engineer IV to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Educates the customer on solution as appropriate throughout the life of the project or service life;
  • Expertise in VMWare’ product offerings;
  • Serve as technical point of contact on customer engagements;
  • Responsible for design, implementation, and troubleshooting the customer’s endpoint/user environment;
  • Experience with automation in an enterprise environment with the mindset of a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or an Automation Developer;
  • Provide high quality content deliverables using the appropriate document templates;
  • Ensure solution is implemented as designed to the customer’s satisfaction and approval;
  • Manage time and expense to meet or exceed expectations defined in the Statement of Work;
  • Assist in the management of projects using project management methodology;
  • Participate in various client projects intended to continually improve/upgrade the security posture the client’s user environments;
  • Conduct throughput analysis, problem solving, and infrastructure planning.

Requirements:

  • Educates the customer on solution as appropriate throughout the life of the project or service life;
  • Expertise in VMWare’ product offerings;
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines, including Jenkins, CircleCI, or TravisCI;
  • Responsible for design, implementation, and troubleshooting the customer’s endpoint/user environment;
  • Serve as technical point of contact on customer engagements;
  • Experience with software architecture, design, and testing;
  • Eligible to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance;
  • Experience with a scripting language, including Bash, Python, or Ruby;
  • Conduct throughput analysis, problem solving, and infrastructure planning;
  • Participate in various client projects intended to continually improve/upgrade the security posture the client’s user environments;
  • Experience with release management tools and techniques;
  • Experience in production with a major Cloud provider, including AWS, Azure, or GCE;
  • Manage time and expense to meet or exceed expectations defined in the Statement of Work;
  • Assist in the management of projects using project management methodology;
  • Ensure solution is implemented as designed to the customer’s satisfaction and approval.
