Enterprise Architect Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Enterprise Architect to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Other duties as assigned;
- Analyze architectural issues and create and document solutions ;
- Working closely with application, network, and security teams to ensure requirements are reflected appropriately in the Azure design;
- Working closely with client operational resources in updating their on-premise practices to include cloud;
- Directs the work assignments of both on-shore and off-shore contractors;
- Direct business stakeholders to follow enterprise architecture guidance for all projects within capability scope;
- Collaborate with key business lines, technology partners, vendors, and architects;
- Mentor and support business and IT staff; address technology issues. Perform industry research and identify trends;
- Analyze the technology industry, competitors and market trends, and determine their potential impact on the enterprise;
- Create, maintain and manage IT architecture models and their components;
- Provide development support and assistance for customer escalations and issues, including off-hours;
- Proactively analyze the current information technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement;
- Help develop clear and concise ways to present data to leadership thus enabling them to make better decisions;
- Define IT systems architecture in support of SmartPay’s business strategies;
- Lead development of ERP reference architectures, methodologies, standards and leading practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Experience of successfully delivering products subject to regulatory requirements and international standards;
- Proven experience successfully directing architectural solutions within small teams and guiding large software projects to implement good architecture;
- Experience working in a SaaS company and designing solutions at scale;
- Strong knowledge of Azure and services;
- 5-10 years IT experience;
- CI/CD Automation;
- Advanced understanding of integration technologies and protocols (APIs, REST, HTTP, SFTP, etc.);
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication and negotiating skill;
- Bachelorâ€s degree;
- Extensive knowledge of online / mobile space and ability to identify key technology trends and competitive advantages;
- Specific Oracle ERP technical and functional experience with Oracle financials;
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions;
- Support communication and implementation of “To-Be” architectures across the enterprise;
- Excellent technical expertise that will inspire and encourage creative and collaborative problem solving.
