Jr. .Net Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Jr. .Net Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Constantly learns and improves technical knowledge and expertise during software development;
- Ensure system integrity and assists in installation of technological upgrades, implementation and training to support new programs/system;
- Provide accurate and timely status reporting as needed, including task and time reporting;
- Coordinate the review of specification, unit test plans, coordinates with QA for defect management and coordinates with release engineers;
- Adhere to all corporate guiding principles, processes, policies, standards and procedures;
- Ensure that all code conforms to software coding practices and standards and that all code is being properly unit tested;
- Provide production support as needed for multiple applications that are maintained;
- Complete technical analysis, design, and coding for support initiatives.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills and effectively collaborates with other team members and project stakeholders;
- Web/Server Technologies – IIS, .NET Framework, SSL, Browsers;
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
- Microsoft Technologies – C#, ASP.Net, SQL, C++, ASP, JavaScript, JSON;
- Relational Databases – SQL Server, DTS Packages, SQL 2000/2005;
- Other Technologies – XML, HTML/DHTML, CSS, Web Services, UML, Telerik;
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and manage workload based on project deadlines and priorities;
- Relevant technology certification is encouraged;
- Ability to estimate project deliverables within a 25% variance to the actual completion time;
- Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
