Our company is looking for a Junior .NET Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages;
  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC);
  • Improve existing software;
  • Test and deploy applications and systems;
  • Participate in requirements analysis;
  • Revise, update, refactor and debug code;
  • Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.

Requirements:

  • Scheduled outages must be notified to the user community via the IRIS homepage and documented in the IRIS Operations Log;
  • Basic knowledge of .NET framework and relational databases;
  • Obtain and maintain all of the certifications per DOD Directive 8570.01-M;
  • Understand upgrade approaches and methodologies;
  • Possess a good understanding of IRIS advanced features;
  • Spoken & written English;
  • Degree/Certification;
  • 6+ months of experience as a software developer (either C# or Java);
  • Ensure IRIS is fast and responsive by working directly with system administrators;
  • Ensure that IRIS best practices are enforced (sharing knowledge with system administrators, programmers, help desk support, and power users);
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or 4 years as a .Net/C# programmer position;
  • Define governance and supporting documentation for the IRIS application;
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) preferred;
  • Notify the PM and Government leadership of any unscheduled system outages and document the outage in the IRIS Operations Log;
  • Ensure that the mission and business requirements are mapped to the appropriate IRIS capabilities.
