Our company is looking for a Privacy Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze regulatory information and provide guidance to applicable departments and individuals, as needed;
  • Coordinate with the IT and Informatics Departments to ensure compliance with relevant information security laws and regulations;
  • Work with the Privacy Officer and Privacy Specialist to implement privacy training and awareness programs;
  • Develop and update newsletters and marketing material;
  • Additional duties as assigned by department head;
  • Assist in establishing and executing processes to audit, monitor, detect, and enforce the privacy program;
  • Develop and conduct proactive monitoring to detect and address privacy issues and interact with appropriate individuals to ensure timely resolution;
  • Draft, evaluate, update, and collaborate on policies, procedures, and training to ensure they reflect current regulatory requirements;
  • Assist with responses and submission of reports to regulatory agencies;
  • Conduct proactive monitoring and detection of business associates and related privacy contracts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Ability to work under pressure, with time constraints, and minimal oversight;
  • PTA/PIA/SDA drafting experience;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in compliance and privacy or a closely related field;
  • Knowledge of government privacy processes;
  • Ability to interact positively within all levels of staff;
  • College degree;
  • Ability to work independently, change priorities, learn new topics and processes, and take on varied assignments;
  • CIPP/G certification;
  • Knowledge of federal and state security and privacy-related regulatory requirements;
  • 1-2 years’ work experience, ideally in a healthcare setting;
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms with knowledge of software development lifecycle;
  • Demonstrated practical, real world, collaborative approach to problem-solving with the ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment;
  • Experience in privacy and data protection laws with CIPP certification(s) preferred.
