Director, Data Analysis Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Director, Data Analysis to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Regularly communicate in writing, telephonically, and in person with clients, custodians, and asset managers regarding investment trading data;
- Occasionally travel to client meetings in the United States and Canada;
- Generate reports for members of the Firm summarizing the results of data analysis;
- Work with the team to generate quarterly reports for clients;
- Help automate and streamline processes to improve team productivity.
Requirements:
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and partner with multiple teams within the firm;
- Familiarity with pension funds and/or large investment funds(preferred);
- Exposure to or prior work in back office operations for a bank or other financial firm (preferred);
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Organized with the ability to work with multiple client data sets and multiple cases simultaneously;
- Proficient in Excel and SQL;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
- Innovative and flexible in choice of sources, strategies, and resource management;
- Knowledge of corporate actions (preferred);
- Detail oriented;
- Flexibility with the ability to take on new tasks;
- Experienced manager with leadership skills.
