Security Architect Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Security Architect to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Define objectives, technical work, and timeline for developing asset-management security architectures, roadmaps, and requirements;
- Communicate progress, findings, and ensure succesfull handoff of deliverables to program and operational teams;
- Develop security architectures, roadmaps, and requirements for asset-management-specific security systems;
- Provide thought leadership by participating in network and security forumsand collaborating with academic and research institutions;
- Develop automation capabilities for the SRO Code Signing Program to enable business processes;
- Help build security into infrastructure and architecture designs and guide the implementation with the operations team;
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide and cross-functional integration solutions;
- Plan, design, develop and maintain security technologies, diagrams, processes and procedures;
- Review enterprise architecture diagrams and recommend security related enhancements;
- Model attack vectors and design security controls to mitigate risk;
- Define security requirements and checklist for IoT platforms;
- Develops innovation strategies and the associated planning / implementation artifacts;
- Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies / products / trends related to security architectural solutions;
- Perform vulnerability research, assessment and management, serve as technical security/risk advisor on all new technology/developed by the Client;
- Conduct cybersecurity related research.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with Mobile client-side operating systems;
- Working knowledge of DMARC and all its components;
- Experience with configuring SIEM/SOAR integration which would require scripts to be written in case of products not directly supported;
- Working Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD along with supporting Microsoft Productivity tools such as MS Office;
- Prior experience with code signing technologies including Microsoft Authenticode, OpenSSL, GPG, and JCA is highly desirable;
- Application security tools such as: and TCP proxies, fuzzers, scanners, debuggers, etc;
- 7+ years of experience in Cyber Security;
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure and/or VMware vCloud and/or Docker;
- Proficiency in programming languages – Java, C/C++;
- Proficiency in Secure Boot and Trusted Execution Environment (TEE);
- Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end software architecture;
- Excellent written & oral communication skills and coordination with peers, end-users, and management;
- Ability to develop effective working relationships and work collaboratively across various technical and business units;
- Working knowledge of network/security infrastructure, and data center modeling, analysis and planning;
- Ability to present complex security topics to wide range of internal and internal audiences (engineers to executives).
