Senior Oracle Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Oracle Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain any business intelligence scripts/database objects;
- Map customer requirements to application functionality;
- Monitor and maintain availability, reliability and overall health and solution delivery of databases;
- Test and correct database errors;
- Test implemented solutions, new applications, and assist customer with user acceptance testing;
- Troubleshoot/Resolve any database issues;
- Implement protocols for backup, disaster recovery, business continuity and security;
- Resolve problems assigned per issue tracking queues;
- Design, implement and maintain data loading scripts/programs;
- Confer with co-workers to determine impact of database changes on other systems in a production environment;
- Tune/Optimize overall database and specific database objects performances.
Requirements:
- Knowledge/experience with PostgreSQL is a plus;
- Experience with Linux and PHP/Python is a plus;
- Knowledge of Finance is a plus.
