Senior Oracle Database Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Oracle Database Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose problems with Oracle products using the Oracle Enterprise Manager;
- Configure and maintain Golden Gate replication for data migration;
- Support the development of applications and the migration of legacy databases into Oracle;
- Analyze and support the installation and configuration of new Oracle versions;
- Write scripts, triggers, and stored procedures;
- Work in a fast-paced operations and development environment.
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen;
- Eligible for security clearance;
- Goldengate experience for heterogenous database integration and replication;
- 7+ years of professional experience in Oracle Database Administration;
- Experience in mission critical, high availability, high reliability environments;
- Experience with Golden Gate;
- OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) for monitoring and performance tuning;
- Extensive SQL and PL/SQL experience required;
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering;
- Experience designing tables, data analysis, writing queries (SQL and PL/SQL), performance tuning, and table partitions;
- Strong knowledge of triggers, stored procedures, third party tools, and transaction monitoring;
- Experience with Java;
- SQL Tuning (within Oracle applications), SQL traces, SQLLDR Oracle Application utilities.
