Sr. Application Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. Application Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications;
- Identify, analyze, and develop interfaces and flows;
- Assist in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements;
- Propose and evangelize development standards across multiple projects and vendors;
- Develop solutions by designing system specifications, standards and programming;
- Identify and communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions;
- Documents designs, issues, solutions, tips & tricks as needed;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Stays current in new IT technologies to maintain a high level of subject matter expertise;
- Develops unit tests and provides code coverage to accurately test business logic and functionality;
- Participates in developing specifications such as user stories and designs;
- Create high-quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines;
- Prepare creative prototypes according to specifications;
- Review existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features;
- Provide daily project updates to the customer Program Manager and management team.
Requirements:
- Experience with TDD and continuous integration and deployment;
- Well-versed with multi-threaded applications and large file-based integration scenarios;
- Experience working with C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET/MVC;
- Mule Cloud experience highly preferred;
- Visual Studio experience (set up and leveraging);
- Experienced with version management tools;
- Extensive experience working with XPath expressions & functions;
- Healthcare experience;
- Experience coding with JavaScript;
- Solid experience in designing and building applications;
- Experience with ITSM applications (Remedy, HEAT, HPSM, ServiceNow, etc.);
- Experience in Agile environments and methodologies;
- CSM Certification;
- ServiceNow experience (User or Integrator);
- Well versed with comprehending requirements and converting it to data visualization best practices.
