Senior Financial Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Financial modelling, analyzing new initiatives, customer profitability etc;
- Solve complex problems that require understanding and evaluation of impacts on the organization;
- Ensuring productivity factors are in-line with expectations;
- Capital and CB2 development and analysis;
- Work collaboratively with the Regional Head of Sales and Field Reps to develop bookings and revenue budgets/forecasts;
- Assists in preparation of intravenous solutions, respiratory drugs, admixtures, TPN and intravenous antibiotics by using aseptic techniques;
- Research and analyze technical accounting memorandums;
- Forecast responsibilities include consolidation of accurate financial data;
- Evaluate analysis of new project proposals, including financial modeling of resources, costs, revenue, and ROI;
- Partner with Data Analysts, ITS and Biz Tools to drive system improvements to reporting accuracy and efficiency;
- Maintain in-depth understanding of IC and Dod Federal Intelligence Funding sources;
- Maintain and enhance financial models for bookings, revenue, and headcount;
- Manipulating, extracting, cleansing, validating, testing and interpreting substantial amounts of data by applying database and other applications;
- Become an expert in the SaaS financial model and the KPIs used to measure success;
- Lead fiscal year planning and monthly forecasting for subscription and consolidated revenue.
Requirements:
- Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately while working in a fast-paced environment;
- Inquisitive and able to work in a cross-functional, flexible environment;
- 3-5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting roles in a fast-paced, energizing environment;
- Experience working with SalesForce;
- Deliverable-focused, strong work ethic, able to prioritize and resolve an array of issues simultaneously;
- Experience in ad sales;
- Strong project management and time management skills;
- Impeccable business judgment, with the ability to motivate colleagues and collaborate effectively to help influence senior leadership;
- 1-2 years of finance working experience with demonstrated understanding of general business processes and financial statements;
- Salesforce and TM1 financial systems experience highly preferred;
- Knowledge of SAP and Business Warehouse (BW) knowledge preferred;
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field OR equivalent work experience;
