Sr. Financial Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed analyses as requested and provide meaningful insights and recommendations;
- Required to solicit, acquire, and synthesize information from multiple sources into comprehensive deliverables;
- Previous experience working with senior management, comfortable giving presentations;
- Use Oracle, GL Wand, Hyperion, Tableau, Admin Tool and other available Direct-To-Consumer/e-Commerce systems to analyze and interpret data;
- Performs other related duties as assigned;
- Reporting and Analysis;
- Ensures adherence to financial controls;
- Provides financial analysis support for various projects, calculating revenue requirements, net present value, customer bill impact, etc;
- High visibility;
- Monitor all financial controls within DFJ and subsidiaries;
- Assist in short and long-term planning cycles;
- Manage the forecasting tool; tool optimization, data entry, reporting;
- Prepare reports and presentations that summarize the Company s financial position;
- Assist in the preparation of the system revenue forecast and budget;
- Research and gather data from a variety of systems/sources.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;
- Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines;
- Experience in industry with a tangible product or good;
- Concur;
- Experience leveraging technology to drive process improvement and standardization;
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills a must;
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment but also independently, managing multiple owners and competing deadlines with minimal supervision;
- Experience with accounting for technology applications a plus (accounting for internally developed software, SaaS);
- Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience;
- Perform other related duties as assigned;
- Bachelor’s Degree required (coursework in finance, accounting, or data analysis strongly preferred);
- Candidate must have ability to summarize complicated financial data in a simple and concise way. Must have proficiency with MS Office;
- Demonstrated leadership skills;
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, and to communicate conclusions and recommendations;
- Provides financial analysis support for various projects, calculating revenue requirements, net present value, customer bill impact, etc.
