Senior Finance Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly financial reports;
- Monthly cash projections;
- Maintain worldwide data integrity;
- Ad hoc reporting;
- Track productivity and efficiency metrics;
- Partner with Business Unit Finance to ensure weĆ¢ re investing capital in highest returning programs;
- Support monthly forecasting, actuals and variance analysis;
- Collaborate with geographically based finance and operations teams on reporting, modeling, and insights;
- Review monthly and quarterly close activities including ASC 606 adjustments, accruals, and revenue reconciliation;
- Liaison with global finance teams to provide insight to past performance and guide on future outcomes;
- Participate in global process improvement projects;
- Prepare presentations for senior leadership providing data-oriented insight;
- Provide expertise and vision to services teams to support their decision making;
- Take ownership of monthly forecast process for global cost centers and oversee geo-submission and global roll-up;
- Design financial metrics and dashboards to report on past performance.
Requirements:
- Active Data for Excel;
- Hyperion Financial Management;
- Hyperion Planning;
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP;
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment;
- 10-25%, varies by role;
- Fluent in English (written and verbal);
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision;
- Experience with Oracle Hyperion, RevStream, and PSA;
- Willingness to work extended hours during the quarter and year-end; this may include weekends;
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, and collaboration skills;
- Experience with Tableau, Salesforce.com (SFDC), and Google spreadsheets and slides;
- Experience in management consulting or Big 4;
- Experience working with global teams;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
