Our company is looking for a Support Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • An ability to work independently within a small, fast-paced team;
  • API implementation before clients go live);
  • API Code Reviews (Review platform code base through to ensure correct;
  • Remote Service Gateway (RSG) mentoring;
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment;
  • Support customer success and Client Experience team in resolving technical issues;
  • Assist Platforms with API integration during deployment;
  • Translate client/customer success questions in to engineering problem for internal digestion and improvement;
  • Ensure systems are adequately checked & protected from virus contamination;
  • Re-creation, analysis, troubleshooting and diagnosis of incidents relating to off-the-shelf and proprietary applications and/or platforms;
  • Tableau and Spotfire application set up for new clients in the cloud and on prem environments;
  • Support users with Microsoft applications;
  • Possible weekend hours for project work or maintenance;
  • To work with Product team and ensuring bugs which are identified during daily incident management process are properly tracked and addressed;
  • User Management (user creation, access rights, deletions).

Requirements:

  • Understanding of UNIX operating systems (Red Hat and Solaris);
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a Technical Support function (B2B) dealing with data analysis and website monitoring (server-side);
  • Bachelor s degree and a minimum 3 years of experience or equivalent blend of degree level education and experience;
  • Desire to work in a dynamic and fast moving startup environment;
  • Skilled presenter and communicator;
  • Serve as point of contact on customer escalations and ensure customer issues are resolved meticulously;
  • Great communication skills and an innate desire to talk to customers;
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills;
  • Familiarity with our API. We recommend trying to build something on top of our APIs before the interview;
  • System analysis skills for IT troubleshooting;
  • Must be capable of identifying and researching technology-related issues and be capable of implementing solutions;
  • Flexible attitude;
  • Strong Understanding of ZFS;
  • Conscientiousness and high accuracy in work;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
