Appointment Setter Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Appointment Setter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises a team of five people;
- Retrieves internet appointment requests and phone message requests and places outbound calls to customers for scheduling of appointments;
- Accepts incoming customer calls and uses software to schedule customers;
- Basic math skills required;
- Communicates and collaborates with manager to ensure customers scheduling needs are met;
- Gathers information and customer personal data followed by data entry;
- Keep detailed tracking of the leads that come in via excel, word, acculynx (CRM);
- Reporting directly to the executive manager on a daily basis;
- Determines which Expert Roofer to place appointment with based upon location criteria.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Quiet home office environment;
- Sales-minded and making contacts via phone;
- Modern computer with high speed internet;
- One year of business to business sales, cold calling or appointment setting;
- Passion for people;
- Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving success;
- Computer skills required. Expertise in Excel preferable;
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form;
- College degree preferred;
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in all written and oral communications, including email;
- Ability to handle a fast paced and always changing environment;
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- Demonstrated conflict management skills;
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
