Insulator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Insulator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Driving a company vehicle;
- Lifting tools, materials and equipment;
- Install ventilation on roofs;
- Take direction from the Crew Chief, working in 2-3 person teams to complete weatherization jobs daily;
- Arrive at our office daily by 6:30am to clean and load the truck for the day;
- Work inside and outside in all conditions; rain, snow, hot, and cold;
- Remove siding, drill holes, and blow insulation into exterior walls, often working on ladders;
- Install insulation, foam board, and complete air sealing in attics, kneewalls, and crawlspaces;
- Communicate with home owners and conduct yourself responsibly in customer’s homes.
Requirements:
- MUST have reliable transportation (car or truck);
- MUST be able to work a minimum of 40/Hrs a week;
- Must be able to work on ladders, roofs, confined spaces and heights up to 40′;
- Must have a valid driver’s license;
- Must pass pre-employment background screen and drug test;
- MUST have tools of the trade;
- Must be on-time daily, prepared, and ready to work;
- Experience in the Mass Save Program or other energy efficiency programs is a plus.
