Responsibilities:

  • MD;
  • establishing positive relationships with local and regional clinical mental health agencies;
  • Teaching of graduate-level and undergraduate courses in EM and related areas;
  • Establish and maintain knowledge of current sources for research support;
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Pulmonary;
  • Receipt of medical staff privileges at OHSU and the VA;
  • Engage in scholarly activities resulting in journal and conference papers;
  • Writing scientific/engineering papers to publish research results;
  • research and scholarly activities;
  • Participation in research projects in the subject area of radar, RF/microwave, electronic warfare, Fourier optics, and/or synthetic aperture radar;
  • Abide by all University policies;
  • advisement and mentoring graduate students in School Counseling;
  • Oregon Medical License;
  • Advising and supervising graduate-student researchers pursuing masters and/or PhD degrees;
  • Write and submit proposals to prospective sponsors.

  • Two years or more experience with academic committee work;
  • Established record of research excellence in a water-related field appropriate for the candidate’s rank;
  • A record of success in research, teaching, and mentoring junior faculty and graduate students;
  • Significant research track record;
  • PhD, MD, or similar terminal degree;
  • Excellent teaching ability or aptitude;
  • Ability to type efficiently and accurately use the computer to carry out job responsibilities;
  • For Clinical Disciplines candidate must hold Board certification (US and Canada), CCT (UK) or Equivalent;
  • Evidence of potential to advise student theses and dissertations.
