Our company is looking for a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure good communication throughout the department and the plant. Promotes teamwork and leads project teams;
  • Counsels and/or discipline employees, as needed. Keeps accurate records of employee counseling and follows up on all disciplinary issues;
  • Ensures all operators remain current in their job training and that all employees attend all safety training classes;
  • Inspects product to verify production specifications are met;
  • Providing management oversight to the Assembly businesses;
  • Assists team members by offering personal growth opportunities;
  • Implements cost-saving strategies and techniques;
  • Trains direct reports on operating procedures, quality standards, environmental, health and safety procedures and company policies;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, identifies and addresses problems and meets deadlines;
  • Coordinate departmental activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products in a timely fashion;
  • Compiles and analyzes production needs;
  • Work closely with other shift Supervisors to ensure production shift changes are effective using communication tools;
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred;
  • Recruits, hires, and trains team members;
  • Maintains communication and coaching to employees on a daily basis to ensure they have.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred);
  • Experience in developing team members through both leading and managing;
  • 2+ years of experience working in Food Production;
  • Manufacturing Engineering experience;
  • Prior experience in the role;
  • Track record of driving KPIs and meeting or exceeding goal required;
  • Open availability to work weekend shifts Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation;
  • ServSafe Certified;
  • Experience managing employees;
  • Proficient on using tablets and PC’s;
  • Must have floor presence and be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours in a cold environment less 40 degrees;
  • 3+ years of Management experience;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets;
  • Bachelor’s degree.
