Production Packager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Production Packager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures, and wear required personal safety equipment;

- Operate packaging equipment properly to prevent personal injury, damage to equipment, and downtime;
- Palletizing boxes;
- Machine Operation;

- Maintain production rates that meet company goals for daily output and product quality;
- Package products for delivery to customers, ensuring products meet all quality assurance specifications including appearance and weight;

Requirements:
- Frequent overhead lifting, reaching, and stacking;
- Physical demands. Requires the ability to perform fast-paced manual labor including: Standing and walking, 8+ hours per day;
- Ability to count, add, and subtract accurately;
- Some production, packaging, or assembly experience is helpful but training is provided;
- Temperatures: Baked lines and frozen lines experience warmer / cooler temperatures;
- Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds;
- Excellent attendance;
- Constant bending, twisting, reaching, repetitive wrist and hand motion;
- High school diploma or GED is a plus;
- Ability to read labels, recipes, scales, safety and food safety procedures, etc;
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity;
- Ability to climb stairs, step stools.
