Packaging Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Packaging Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Set up equipment for operation, labeling, patch and pouch inspection, and special packaging clinical studies;
- Performs other duties as assigned;
- Quality Checks: Performs necessary quality checks in accordance with current, applicable Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions;
- Transport System cleaning: Performs Transport System cleaning in accordance with current, applicable Standard Operating and Work Instructions;
- Operate and maintain production equipment;
- Process products in strict compliance with cGMP and SOPs;
- Participate in all production activities, including manufacturing, packaging, punching, and pouching of products;
- Clean equipment and manufacturing room in compliance with established policies and regulatory requirements;
- Assist with shipping, receiving and warehousing;
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Willing and able to wear appropriate safety equipment to perform specific job duties per zoning requirements;
- Ability to walk up and down stairs as well as work at elevated heights and various climates (both hot and cold);
- Incumbent will be exposed to noise and hot and cold temperatures;
- Ability to walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 55 lbs. is required;
- Stand for approximately 90% of a 12 hour shift;
